Hey Life Warriors!

How long should I train for? One of the excuses we hear most often for not exercising is lack of time. Well, this excuse could have its days numbered according to a recent study.

In this study, which we learned about through Chris and Dani Shugart’s podcast The Health and Fitness Quiz Show, 34 individuals with at least one year of strength training experience were divided into three groups and all three groups followed a weight training routine for eight weeks, training three non-consecutive days per week. The first group performed one set per exercise, with a total duration of 13 minutes per session. The second group performed three sets per exercise (about 45 minutes) and the third group performed five sets per exercise (about one hour and 20 minutes).

At the end of the eight weeks, strength, muscular endurance and hypertrophy measurements were taken for all of them. The increases in strength and muscular endurance were similar in all three groups, while there was a greater increase in hypertrophy in the group with a higher training volume.

What does this mean to you?

You can actually achieve great results with a minimal time dedication. With the workouts that we propose you, you can increase your strength and endurance.
